Do you have the heart of a revolutionary and the sharp eye of a bargain-hunter? Do you have a Che Guevara t-shirt, but feel like a sell-out wearing it to the mall? Is it possible to score big on Black Friday without becoming a materialistic pig and betraying your vision of peace, love and understanding for the world?
Yes, friend. If you want to protest the soulless market machine by not shopping on Black Friday, power to you. If you want to stick it to the corporate-political beast by spending your money at small businesses instead of feeding the larger predators, you have our solidarity. But what if you could find deals so sweet that taking advantage of them would actually hurt our capitalist overlords, and leave you with some awesome stuff as a side effect? If you like this last option the best, look no further. We have scoured the interwebs long and hard to find the good stuff so cheap (or free) that you can shop with your conscience and wallet intact.
Tell me about the free stuff first, you say? You got it. Some of these involve showing up first in line (“while supplies last”), so if you appreciate a good reason to leave a family gathering early, they could be just what you’re looking for. Others involve filling out rebate forms, so if you’re the type of person who can do a little paperwork and wait a couple weeks for the check, you’re in luck.

Nothing beats a deal like that but one must consider that it has only 2 GB RAM and anything less than 4 GB these days makes your computer run sluggish.

This year, Black Friday has been rolled back to Thanksgiving Thursday evening; by next year, the stores will have to throw in a turkey dinner, too. So, if you’re going to spend money, do it right: stick it to the man by shopping him right out of business!
